ASUS DR-950 live shots released

SlashGear picks up on some live shots of the ASUS DR-950 in action. From the photos, it certainly looks impressive - very crisp indeed!

    I'm a huge fan of Asus. I have an Asus laptop and bought my SO an Asus netbook so he'd stop using my laptop :D. I've always used Asus motherboards on my desktop builds.

    So I'm really stoke about Asus entering the market and am looking forward to seeing their eReaders up close. Especially the OLED one.

    The Kindle 1 was great until the K2 arrived. So, I had to have it. Then, the DX allowed for large PDF which is great for camera and software manuals, business documents, powerpoints, etc. Then the nook comes with a better screen than the K2 and the more open format. Even the new Sony Daily edition looks great but expensive. Getting very confusing.

    I haven't been a large fan of Asus netbooks, as I've found the MSI Wind series to be equal in price and slightly superior in form factor, but the DR series prototypes look like a good way to get a few hundred bucks out of me...
