On Friday I reported on a BeBook prototype with a Liquavista color display. I sourced that article from the very reliable TeleRead via a story by David Rothman. Today MobileRead is reporting that the prototype was a plastic shell with no working screen. They had demos of the screen technology, but not inside of a working eReader. Nate would know - he was there, and had pictures to boot. Clearly the pictures show that the functional pieces were way to large to fit in a Kindle-sized device.
Such are the perils of reporting from your living room and not the show floor!
