The New York Times is reporting that there is a legitimate disagreement between Amazon and Macmillan, and it's 100% over the $9.99 price point. There are looming storm clouds out there, and it appears Apple has a weather making machine.
So, while I'm seeing that the titles are back (at least temporarily), it's likely we haven't heard the last of the matter. One thing is for sure; Apple seems to have stirred the pot without even shipping one unit!
I just spot checked Kobo and the Sony Reader Store, and there are some Macmillan titles listed for sure.
