HTC and Borders have no deal in place

I mentioned a possible deal being reported with Borders and HTC for an under development eReader app for a possible future update to the HD2 phone.

I contacted Kobo to query if this was to be the first fruit from the Kobo & Borders agreement and was informed that at this time there's no formal agreement between HTC and Borders, which would imply the eReader app is still in fairly early development, and the store portion is likely a proof of concept at best.
