A One in a Million Coincidence

I was reading "An Innocent Client," a legal mystery novel by Scott Pratt and had occasion to refer to a previous bookmark. So, on my nook, I selected Bookmarks - Go to bookmark. To my surprise, all three bookmarks were dated with the same date (April 12) and each was timestamped with a "round number" such as 6:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m., and 11:00 a.m. This just didn't seem right to me, especially since I didn't have the nook in April and I was certain that all of my bookmarks could not have been added at exactly an "on the hour" time. I was confused. Let me add that this is the first time I've look carefully at bookmarks on the nook. I've had a Kindle since the K1.

Well, I soon discovered that these were not the dates and times of my bookmarks, but actually the titles of the chapters I was reading within which the bookmarks were added. In other words, the name of the chapter for the first bookmark was "April 12 6:00 p.m." I was both relieved and a little embarrassed.

PS: The book is great. It was recommended by one of my most favorite authors, Sheldon Siegel.
