Just released at an introductory price of $0.99 is 3D Bookshelf, claiming to be the first 3D book reader for iPhone users. Sounds great, but in practice it appears to be a nifty interface that might slow down reading, bundled into an application that provides about a dozen out of copyright books that you can read for free through Google or Project Gutenberg.
