Eric Fisherman reinventing his father's booklight

Eric Fisherman out of Ridgewood, NJ acquired rights to the Periscope book cover and reading light from his father, the inventor of the product. He has reinvented the product into a cover and reading light for Kindles specifically and has since had trouble keeping up with the product's demand.

I've looked at his products many times as I continue the search for the perfect cover and the perfect booklight - while his light is no doubt impressively bright, it seemed a bit bulky and heavy for me. The downside of competing products are the small, round LED lights they tend to use that inevitably cast a round circular glare somewhere on the display. I'm still seeking the happy medium, and would love some suggestions!
