Amazon's Digital Text Platform opening to international authors

The Washington Post is reporting that Amazon's Digital Text Platform for publishing Kindle books is opening up to international authors. This is an obvious, logical extension given that Kindles are now available internationally, they should get access to content produced internationally as well.
