Engadget grabbed a sneak peek at Blio, and was able to obtain some video to boot. I'm still not looking forward to another format and I personally have little interest in a format that doesn't offer itself onto an eReader type display.
I read much more on eReaders than I ever did on computers, and it all comes down to the e-Ink displays. I even find I read a bit more than I did in my "book days" since when I travel (or even late at night when I don't feel like getting up) I always have something to read. When you rely on books, you might not have something in front of you that you feel like at any given moment.
That said, the Blio software is impressive. If it makes it's way onto a next generation eReader with a Mirasol or similar color technology screen, sign me up as interested. I would hope to see ePub continue on, however. ePub and Adobe Digital Editions covers regular reading just fine, and has a fine legacy of purchased content that I'd hate to lose access to one day.
