HarperCollins in talks with Apple re: eBooks on the tablet?

The Wall Street Journal is reporting that HarperCollins is in talks with Apple to make eBooks available for the almost-certain-to-be-announced tablet.

According to the article which references unnamed sources, HarperCollins will set the price of eBooks, which would have added features (probably color photos and video content in some cases).

The WSJ (owned by News Corp., who also owns HarperCollins) reports that the enhanced content would justify a higher price versus the $9.99 norm for recent releases now in effect. They also speculate that this would cause HarperCollins to permit simultaneous release on the same date as the hardcover, which would allow for the immediate release of books like Game Change, currently held back in eBook format.
