PETA fans and those adverse to $70 Kindle covers need not apply

Unless you fit one of the aforementioned categories, the M-Edge Icon Crocodile embossed Patent Leather Kindle Jacket is both a mouthfull and a seemingly striking case.

I'm half way to the trigger button, except for fear of my wife, and the use of straps for attaching. I don't mind the strap system on the nook, since there's obviously no other choice, but with M-Edge already offering some covers that use the metallic latch system of the Kindle 2 and a $70 price tag, I'm not sure there's a great excuse for that.

Available in multiple colors, and compatible with their lighting system, it certainly is a striking product... unless you're a PETA fan.
