Post-announcement iPad questions

I came away with a few questions regarding the iPad as pertains to eReading:
  • What is the method of DRM applied to iBooks, and will there be an iPhone version of the reader (or a Mac and Windows version for that matter)?
  • Since "all iPhone apps" run, clearly B&N, Kobo, Amazon and other booksellers apps will run, will there be any hesitation by Apple to approve iPad optimized versions?
  • What happened to the big push we were expecting on magazines and newspapers? The New York Times has done a great job, but I kind of expected a framework for all publishers to be able to tap into.
  • What happens to Kindle DX, Que, Skiff and others? Is there a place for $500 to $900 tablet sized readers that are e-Ink (plus) but not color (negative) in light of a widely available $500 to $900 tablet that does so much more too?
As far as buying one, my only question is do I get the 32gb 3G or the 64gb 3G, not whether I want one. It will be interesting to see if this affects how often I carry my Kindle or nook - having the iPhone and a laptop has not changed this, I almost always carry it.
