Run Amazon's Kindle for PC app under Linux

Linux enthusiast? Looking at some of the sub-$300 netbooks, many of which are under $300 these days? With one (very simple) tweak to WINE, you can run Amazon's Kindle for PC app on your Linux netbook (or desktop or laptop for that matter).

  2. Craig, you are almost certainly right. Although there's some wiggle room on a $299 netbook that costs more than $1 to ship. :) What I meant to say in my frenzied rush this afternoon was:

    I guess that's why I write about eReading, rather than write about writing!
