Publisher's Weekly reports that John Wiley is one of the first large publishing firms to sign up with Blio, the eReader software developed by Ray Kurzweil. The software only firm has plans for extremely media rich eBooks.
Wiley said prices would be in line with other 'like' eBook retailers - an odd statement considering Blio's attempt to portray themselves as unlike any other eBook solution. In any event, this likely means pricing to be in the $10 to $15 range, and presumably not the $9.99 that Amazon would like to be ubiquitous.
