To be fair, their headline mentions iPhone/iPad applications, but without the iPad App Store being online / iPads being available for purchase, it's safe to say they meant an iPhone app which will therefore run on an iPad.In any event, Business Wire picked up on news that Pearson was releasing single and multi-book reader Applications to complement their existing technical books and videos.
The first app released contains three eBooks covering Mac and iPhone application development.
15 applications are available in all, both in paid versions plus free versions containing a sample chapter - with the full book available via in-app purchasing.
